Activating Customers on MobilePawn
Learn how to activate customers on MobilePawn by sending an invite, verifying customer information, and tracking activation status—all within Bravo.
This guide will walk you through activating a customer on MobilePawn.
(NOTE: If you are not sure you have this Add-On feature, contact our friendly Sales team and they will help you to find out.)
Sending an SMS to a customer to get them activated:
- Search for the customer

- Click View to go to the customer’s profile

- Enter their “Mobile” phone (“Home” phone will not work)
- Uncheck the “DNT” checkbox (to allow SMS messaging to be sent to the customer)
- Click the
Icon or the Send New Activation Code on the bottom right of the screen

- Click “Send” and the message will be sent immediately
You will see the following dialog confirming the status of the message.

- The customer can then download and open the MobilePawn app and tap “Login with Activation Code” entering their phone number and their 4-digit Activation Code which you sent.
- The customer is now Activated on MobilePawn!
SENDING AN ACTIVATION CODE AFTER THEY HAVE ACTIVATED (Mobile icon looks like this: )
After a customer is activated on MobilePawn, the icon in their profile will appear as a message bubble beside a mobile phone. The mobile icon button only sends an activation code the FIRST time you use it. Afterwards it will be a self written message to the customer's phone.
The activation code does not expire! So if the customer accidentally deletes the application from their phone, they can use the same initial activation code every time.
IF the customer… CHANGES THEIR PHONE – or – CHANGES THEIR MOBILE NUMBER…
First change their number in Bravo if that is necessary and then click the “Send New Activation Code” button in the bottom-right of their profile to send a new activation code to their new number

Mobile App Icons
This icon indicates that the customer has not downloaded our app. Clicking on it will send an invitation to download the app.
This icon indicates that the customer has installed our Mobile App and you can send them notifications.
This icon is displayed on the payment collection window for convenient customer invitation to Bravo's Mobile App.
Where can I send an invitation or a notification?
You can send a message or an invite wherever you see the icons shown above.
The icons will appear whenever you are viewing a customer's profile, accessing the customer in the transaction screen, or managing a transaction linked to a customer.
