Bravo Time Clock Set Up

Learn how to configure Bravo's Time Clock feature, set employee permissions, and manage clock-in/out procedures for accurate payroll tracking.

Before employees can clock in, you have to make some decisions about how you want your employees to clock in and clock out and the things they can do when they are off the clock. Bravo tracks the hours worked and passes the information to payroll.

 

Security Settings

The first thing you do is define the security settings for all employees at the store level. Setting options are:

  • – Employee can perform the activity.
  •  – Employee cannot perform the activity.
  • – Activity requires manager approval to complete.

Follow these directions to define security:

  1. From the Bravo Dashboard, click System Configuration.

           The System Configuration screen appears.

 

  1. From the System Configuration screen, company tree, expand the store to display the employees.

 

  1. Double-click an employee name. The employee settings tabs appear.
  2. Click the Security tab to display security options for the employee.
  3. Click Time Clock to display the time clock security options.
  1. Set the following to Allowed, Not Allowed, or Manager Approval:
  • Time Clock – Permits basic access to clock in and clock out.
  • Override Time Entry – Enter an earlier time than the current time when clocking in and out. 
  • Transaction without clock in – Process a transaction without clocking in.
  • Edit Entries – Edit and delete existing records and add new records. This option is not available in the Time Clock module if set to Not Allowed. 
  1. Click Save to save your selections.
