This article will detail the enhancements that have been made to integrate Fortis with Buya and streamline the checkout process.

Checkout process for New Customers:
First time using a card with Fortis. Consumers will see an icon to add a card.
Enter card info:
Clicking on the Add Card icon takes the user to a pop up window to add the card. Buya will automatically fill in the customers name and will fill in the billing address from the registration address. Consumers can change this address as needed.
Shipping address:
Buya added a checkbox to save the billing address as the default shipping address. This little checkbox helps speed up the process of placing an order. Notice that in this example, the consumer did not have a shipping address. Phone number is required for a shipping address. If the consumer chooses to not save the address as the default shipping address, the phone number is not required.
Add card info:
All the user has to do is enter the card information. There is also an option to save the card for future orders. By default, this is checked, but consumers have the option to uncheck the checkbox and not save the card. Before sending the card information to Fortis, Buya checks the card format and expiration. Consumers will see warnings for incorrect card information. Customers will also have to complete the CAPTCHA that will appear after entering in their information.
Confirm & Pay:
Clicking Done on the Add Card window will return the consumer to the checkout window with the shipping address filed in and the card they just added selected. All they have to do at this point is click on Confirm & Pay.
Order confirmation:
After clicking on Confirm & Pay, the card is processed through Fortis and upon successful completion, the consumer is taken to the order confirmation page.
Returning customers:
When the consumer returns to Buya, the cards they chose to save will be there to expedite the checkout process. As you can see here, from Buy It Now to Confirm & Pay with two clicks.
Add another card:
If the consumer wishes to use another card for their purchase, clicking on the Change or Add Card link will option the Payment Options window. From here, they can click on Add Card to add another card.
Add card:
The Add Card window has the same features and functionality as when the consumer added the first card. Buya automatically filled in the name and billing address. All the consumer had to do was type in the card information.
New card selected:
Clicking Done on the Add Card window will return the consumer to the consumer to the checkout window with the new card selected. All they have to do is click Confirm & Pay to complete the order.
Change card:
Consumers with multiple cards can click on the Changer or Add Card link to change what card to use.
Payment Options:
Consumers can manage their cards in the Payment Options selection of My Account. From this window they can add new cards, delete existing cards, or set what card to use by default. If the consumer only has one card, that card will be the default card.
