Clock In and Clock Out

Before you can work, you usually need to clock in; however, you are also prompted to clock in in the following situations:

  • When you are clocked out, but need to perform a transaction.
  • When you are clocked out, but start opening a till.
  • When you are clocked in and close your till.

Follow these directions to clock in and clock out:

  1. To open the time clock, do one of the following:
    1. From the Bravo lock screen, click Time Clock.

From the Bravo Dashboard, click the clock in the upper right corner.

The Time Clock – Clock In/Clock Out dialog box appears.

  1. From the Time Clock – Clock In/Clock Out dialog box Alias field, type your Bravo user name.

 

  1. In the Password field, type your Bravo password. 
  2. Check the In/Out field to make sure it matches whether you are clocking in or clocking out.

NOTE: If the In/Out field is not correct, contact your manager and see Edit Time Clock Entries.

  1. The Date field is automatically updated when you click OK.

NOTE: Do not change the date. Changing the date requires manager approval.

  1. The Time field is automatically updated when you click OK.
  2. In the Confirmation Action field, type one of the following:
    1. Type IN if you are clocking in.
    2. Type OUT if you are clocking out.
  3. Click OK. A confirmation dialog box appears. 

 

  1. Click Yes to confirm your action. You are clocked in or clocked out now.
