Confiscating Inventory Items
Learn how to mark items as confiscated in Bravo to maintain records and comply with police reporting requirements.

This article is going to teach you how to confiscate an item that is in Inventory for the police.
Instructions
In order to do this, the item must be in the Status of Inventory.
- First you will need to find the item in the Inventory.
- From the Dashboard, select Inventory.
- Next, you will type/scan the inventory item that needs to be confiscated in the Inventory Search bar at the top.
If the item is converted inventory, use the drop-down to select Inventory Number and enter the item's number.

- Once you have the item pulled up, you can select Confiscate Item on the side menu..
This action will permanently remove the item from the system, and it cannot be restored to its original Inventory Number. If the item is returned to the store, you can use the Purchase General Merchandise or Purchase Jewelry options to restock it. For instructions, refer to Purchase Items into Bravo.
- When you click on Confiscate Item you will need to fill out the information of the officer who picked up the item, which is required to continue.
- If you do not have this information, you should call your local police department to gather this information on the confiscated item.

- The last step to confirm this item will be confiscated and obtain the Status of POLICE is to click Save on the bottom left side menu.
- You have successfully confiscated an item!
