Consignment Price Tag

Learn how to print consignment price tags, including selecting tag formats and handling item details.

When an item is taken in on consignment, a price tag must be printed before before going on the floor. If your consignment hold period is set to zero, you will get a price tag immediately upon completing the consignment transaction.  If you have a required hold period, you will have to go through inventory pricing.

Consignment Hold Period is Zero

Instructions

  • If an item is set to have a Consignment Hold Period of zero days, the item will be priced directly from the Estimator into inventory once the transaction is complete.
  • Price is added through the Add Item Screen in the Consignment Transaction.
  • Since there is no regulatory hold, the item will go directly to inventory upon completing this transaction. 
  • When the Consignment paperwork is printed, a price tag for the consignment will be printed.
  • The item can be tagged and put directly into inventory.

 

Consignments Subject to Hold.

  • If an item is set to have any Consignment Hold Period, the item will be on hold until that period is up.
  • The item will have to be priced from the Inventory screen.
  • The price will still be added through the Add Item Screen in the Consignment Transaction.
  • This time upon completion of the consignment, a Consignment Tag will print. Tags will always be of the general merchandise style.

  • The items will then go into Unpriced status in Inventory once the hold period is over. They will be priced as normal.

Reprint Tags

  • To reprint Consignment Tags, go to Consignment from the Dashboard.
  • Select the item that needs to be reprinted and right click on it.
  • Select Reprint Tags.
  • Also after selecting the Consignment, click on Reprint Tags from the side menu.

 

  • This will reprint the Consignment Tag only.  Price tags cannot be reprinted from the Consignments screen.

  • To reprint Price Tags, go to Inventory from the Dashboard.
  • Pull up the item that needs the price tag reprinted. 
  • Right click and select Reprint Tag.

 

  • This will reprint the Price Tag only.  Consignment tags cannot be printed from the Inventory screen.
