Cost Adjustment Report
You will learn how to generate Bravo's Cost Adjustment Report to track inventory cost changes by item or date range.
The Cost Adjustment Report is used to review itemized cost adjustment records and other non-sale actions which affect item costs or otherwise affect the store's inventory base.
There are two types of Cost Adjustment reports. Click on each link to learn more.
Single-Item Cost Adjustment report
The single-item Cost Adjustment report shows all cost adjustment records associated with a single item.
To run this report, click on Inventory from the Bravo Dashboard.

From the Inventory screen, select an item. Select Cost Adjustment from the right panel or right-click the item in the grid to select this option.

The Report Preview screen will appear with the Single Item Cost Adjustment report.

There are several options on this page:
- Print the report to the Reports printer as set up in Bravo
- Flip from page to page in the report.
- Zoom in to the report.
- Save the report as one of the formats listed under the drop down menu (**the email icon also saves a file)
- Display the report in a new window.
The top of the single-item Cost Adjustment report shows the same information displayed at the top of the Item History report:

The grid below the item information displays the most recent adjustment records at the top. This grid also appears in the Multi-Item Cost Adjustment report:

Multi-Item Cost Adjustment report
The multi-item Cost Adjustment report shows all cost adjustment records recorded over a designated range of dates.
To run this report, select Reports from the Bravo Dashboard.
On the Reports screen, select Cost Adjustment Report from the Inventory Reports grouping. Click Preview.

You will see the Cost Adjustment Report Configuration window.
The following options are configurable on the Cost Adjustment Report Configuration dialog:
- Reporting Dates - The report will select cost adjustment records logged within the selected range of dates.
- Group By - Cost adjustment records can either be ungrouped, grouped by Associate who logged the cost adjustment, or grouped by the Adjustment Reason for the cost adjustment. A SubTotal appears at the bottom of each group, as well as a Total at the bottom of the report.
- Include Detail - When this box is checked, the report will itemize all selected cost adjustment records. When it is unchecked, the report will show only the subtotal for each group of cost adjustments. The report always itemizes cost adjustments when it is not grouped.
Click OK.
The above example shows the Cost Adjustment report grouped by Adjustment Reason. Each Adjustment type is grouped together and subtotaled.
