Credit Balance Report
You will learn how to run Bravo's Credit Balance Report to view store, gift card, and layaway credits as of a selected date.
This report will allow you to view the balance of customer credit for any selected date or credit type. The report will also display all credits active at the end date selected for the report.

To enable this feature, contact Bravo support at 888-407-6287, option 3.
Concerns & Considerations
Only enable this report for those employees who will need to complete this task.
This report is intended to show the credit balance that the company and store is holding.
- For multi-store operators, Store Credit and Gift Card Credit are for the whole company and reported company wide.
- Layaway Credit is for individual stores and will only show for the present store.
How to Start or Setup
After the report has been enabled for your store, you will need to make sure that your employees have the correct securities.
You can find this security in System Configuration under the Employee's Security:

Best Use and Steps
To run the report, start by selecting Reports from the Bravo Dashboard:

From the Reports screen, select Credit Balance from Sales Reports. Click Preview.

You will see the Credit Balance Report Configuration window.

From the drop down select the check box next to each credit type that you would like to include on the report. You can select from:
- Store Credits
- Gift Cards
- Layaway Credits
Select the Ending Balance Date. The balance displayed on the report will be the balance as of that date.
By default, the report is run for all credits and today's date.
After making your selections, click OK.
Report Layout
The report will print the three credits in order starting with Store Credits, Gift Cards, then Layaway Credits.

The report will break out each credit by type and give a total for each. The report prints data as of the Ending Balance Date.
Items are sorted by the Issued Date which is based on the first time the customer received a credit.
Store Credits and Gift Cards show the Issuing Store as they can be used throughout all stores of the corporation.
From the Report Preview screen you can:
- Print the report to the Reports printer as set up in Bravo
- Flip from page to page in the report.
- Zoom in to the report.
- Save the report as one of the formats listed under the drop down menu (**the email icon also saves a file)
- Display the report in a new window.
