Custom Loan Notice Templates
Learn how to create and customize loan notice templates in Bravo to meet your store’s branding and compliance needs. This includes setting up different versions by location and updating formatting, verbiage, and logos.
Users have the ability to create customized templates for loan notices that are printed and mailed from the store.
By default, all notices will have Loan Notice printed at the top.
The store logo, store name, and store address prints on the left. Underneath that is the notice date.
The customer’s name and address prints next. To the right of this will be the customer contact info: email address and/or phone number.
This information cannot be changed and will look something like this:

Users can customize the rest of the notice using the notice template.
To edit the notice template, click on System Configuration from the Bravo Dashboard.

From the System Configuration window, select the tab labeled Configuration and then click on the arrow next to the POP CONFIG section.

Select Loan Notice Template. Click on the Edit button under the top row of tabs then click on the pencil icon
next to the template.

A popup window will appear containing the loan notice template. The buttons at the top are fields that can be inserted into different sections of the template.

When using one of these fields, Bravo will replace that text on the printed notices with the actual information. For example, clicking on any of these buttons will insert the text on that button into the template and highlight it in blue. When printing notices Customer.FirstName would be replaced by the customer’s actual first name.
The first customizable section is the Header.

This will print below the customer’s address. Click into the textbox located under the header title and enter the message that you want to appear on the printed notice. The header textbox is limited to a total of 5,000 characters.
The next section is a Table that can be inserted into the notice.

One row will appear for each loan included in the notice.
Please note that there is a different configuration that determines if the store allows multiple loans to print per notice. This configuration can be found under System Configuration > Configuration tab > POP CONFIG > Loan notice style:![]()
To edit the Table, enter the name of the column heading exactly how it is to be printed into the top row. Each column header is limited to 50 characters.
Next, select the type of information that will be printed in each column using the drop down list below each heading.

If you do not want a table to print on notices, clear out all six of these fields. To clear out the fields, click the gray X next to each drop-down list. No printed table on notices would look like this:

The checkbox next to the Ticket Barcode section controls whether or not the barcode for that loan ticket will print on the notice.

Next is the Footer section.

Editing this section is the same as editing the header section. This section is limited to 5,000 characters.
Once all sections have been completed, you can use the Preview button to see an example of the customized loan notice.

The Reset button will revert all sections back to Bravo defaults.
The Cancel button cancels all changes made to the template.
To save any changes, click the Ok button.
Then once back on the System Configuration screen, click the Save button.
