Customer Rank Definition/Calculation - Ad Hoc

You will learn how to generate an Ad Hoc report in Bravo to rank customers based on sales margin and pawn service charges.

If you want to produce an Ad Hoc report that ranks customers with the same calculation as the customer knowledge report, follow these steps.

Please note:The Bravo system does not directly correlate with the calculation that determines a customer's rank in the Customer Knowledge Report.

You may be able to generate the desired results by running an Ad Hoc Report from Customer Management and choosing from the following criteria:

  • Buys activity
  • Loans activity
  • Sales Activity
  • Total Loans
  • Total Buys
  • Total Sales

You can also change the value signs and adjust the range of query.

Once generated, you can use the Column Chooser to display the appropriate fields, and use the columns to sort your customers accordingly.

Customers are ranked by the sum of their total PSC Paid (Pawn Service Charges) plus their total sales margin dollars (Sale Amount minus Cost).

The higher the total, the more valuable the customer to the business, thus the higher their value.  Your best customers will be those who keep the longest loans (and keep paying on them) and pay asking price on retail sales.

Formula:

Customer rank = sum (Sales Price Amount) - sum(Sales Cost Amount)+ sum(Loan PSC Paid Amount)-sum(Loan PSC Discount Amount))
