The Discounted Items Analysis report gives you a list of all items sold at a discount for a specified date range. The report will highlight discounts of greater than 35% for items less than 180 days old, discounts of greater than 20% for new items less than 10 days old, and items sold below cost for items less than 180 days old.
This report can be found under Operational Reports as well as All Reports.
Clicking on Discounted Items Analysis will bring you to the report screen where you can select a store, item type and date range.
For Spec Type, you can select Jewelry Only, Guns Only, General Items or all. This will limit the parameters of the search to just the item type specified.
Once you have entered the parameters click 
from the right hand side of the screen.
As the report is running, you will see a notification that the report is loading. Clicking Cancel will abort the reporting process.
Once the report is run, you will see the report broken out into three sections.
- The first section shows report highlights. (Discounts of > 35% (< 180 days) • Discounts > 20% on new items (< 10 days) • Below Cost (< 180 days))
- The next section shows any Zero Price items that may have been sold during the reporting date range.
- The last section shows all discounts on items sold, regardless of how high or low.
The report contains all data on each transaction including transaction ID number, Item number, description, cost, price sold, discount and employee. Each section can be sorted by any column to help with your own analysis.
