E4473 Start Screen
You will learn how to initiate a customer's E4473 in Bravo, including sending links via text or QR code, managing firearm details, and handling special cases like gun shows or private party transfers.

Welcome to the E4473 Start screen. Here, you'll find everything needed to begin your customer's E4473. The form is also available in Spanish.

Instructions
- Press the Send Link View QR button to get started.
- You can text the E4473 to the customer for them to complete on their phone.
- You can print a QR code that most mobile devices can scan. Simply take a picture of the QR code to open the E4473 Link.
- This button is located at the bottom left of the E4473 Start screen.
Note: If an item is marked as Antique in the Estimator, it is not required by the ATF fill out an E4473.

Details of the E4473 Start screen
Status Bar
- The status bar at the top of the screen shows where you are in the E4473 process.

- The question mark next to "transfer" expands a section between the status bar and the items list to show useful information for each screen.

Items list:
- Below the status bar is the list of selected firearms for this E4473. It shows two firearms at a time; if there are more, a scroll bar will appear on the right to view all of them. Columns information

# - Represents the line number as they would be seen in the 4473 form.
Photo – If a photo exists for the selected item, it will be shown here.
Type – This will list the transaction line item type Hold Sale, Hold Redeem, etc.
Description - This will have the unique item number followed by:
- Type - Pistol/Rifle/Shotgun/etc
- Manufacturer - Company that made the firearm. Such as Ruger/Colt/Smith & Wesson/etc
- Model - The specific model assigned by the manufacturer
- Caliber - specified nominal internal diameter of the gun barrel bore
- Serial Number - Unique identifier assigned by the manufacturer
Number of items
- At the bottom, this will list the total number of items in the E4473.
Payment State
- This section shows if the transaction is paid or if payment is due. Currently, Bravo only permits the E4473 to initiate the process when the item is Paid in Full.

Bottom buttons Row

Refund
- Select this button to refund the transaction. It is available on the E4473 Start screen if the customer changes their mind.
- The button is disabled after the E4473 is sent to the customer due to an active E4473 form.
Send Link View QR
- Clicking this button shows the customer's mobile number, allowing changes if necessary, and includes a Send Link option for them to complete the E4473 on their phone.
- The QR code is displayed and can be scanned from the screen or printed on receipt paper to be scanned at an in-store kiosk to start the E4473.
- You can also click Close to stop the process.

Gun Show
- Click on this button if the transaction is occurring at a gun show.
- A window will open up where you can record the required details about the gun show.
- At a gun show, be sure to save this information as you won't have a chance later.

Private Party Transfer
- If your store provides Private Party Transfer service, you will need to have this information prepared before starting the E4473 and customers must sign their section with Private Party declared.
- Record the customer transferring the firearms before sending the E4473 link to the recipient.
- On the E4473 Start screen, click the “Private Party Transfer” button and note the name of the customer transferring the firearms.
- Click Ok, then continue send the E4473 Link.

View E4473
- Clicking this button, View E4473 will open a viewer with all six pages of the E4473.
- This button appears on all screens and displays previously saved information before clicking “View E4473.”

Notes
- The Notes button is seen on every E4473 screen. Clicking this button opens the Notes window with two boxes.
- The left side box 4473 Notes is where you enter notes that you wish to be seen on the 4473.
- The right-side box Store Notes are internal notes for the store to reference and are not seen on the 4473.
- Once you add notes, the Notes button will turn yellow as a reminder.

Save and Close
- This button is on all E4473 screens and it does what it says. Saves the current changes and closes the E4473, then lands you back on the Dashboard.
- Stores with the E4473 feature can now choose not to print a watermark for non-transferred items.
- For completed transactions with Cloud Storage, the watermark will still appear.
- For stores using E4473 without Cloud Storage, the 4473 form will display without a watermark.

Right side buttons

Print blank 4473 (English)
- Prints all six pages of the 4473 with the selected firearms and store information. This can be used for those few customers that refuse to use a mobile device to fill out the form.
Print blank 4473 (Spanish)
- Prints all six pages of the 4473 with the selected firearms and store information in Spanish. This can be used for those few customers that refuse to use a mobile device to fill out the form.
Cancel E4473
- Clicking this button will cancel the E4473 in progress and allow you to refund the transaction.
Refresh
- Clicking this button will check on the status of the customer filling out their section of the form.
- Once the customer finishes their section, you'll be directed to the "E4473 Review" screen.
- A pop-up will notify you if the customer hasn't finished.
Manual Form Entry
- This allows the employee at the store to completely skip the customer needing to fill out the form online.
- The employee will need to give the reason for skipping the online form and filling it out manually and print the form.
- If the customer preferred language is Spanish in their profile, then then form will print the Spanish version.
