eBay API FAQ

You will learn how Bravo's eBay API integration streamlines online selling by automating listings, syncing inventory, and managing multi-store accounts.

Q. How does the eBay integration work?

A. The eBay integration was designed exactly as the Bravo/Buya integration. When clients "Purchase" new inventory items into Bravo, or "Price" defaulted/held buys, the Web check box will be available. Phase I includes auction and Buy it Now.

The integration also provides dual channel pricing. This means that items can be priced differently on your floor and online.

If the item sells at the store, it will automatically be removed from the web listings to prevent dual sales. If the item sells on eBay or Buya, but the CSR has not retrieved the item from the sales floor, Bravo will also prevent the dual sale by warning the CSR of the pending web order.

Special web options can be set for the item as well, like in-store pickup only, flat rate and free shipping. Some items like games, video movies, and low-priced items can use our stock images.

Q. I have 16 stores, but one eBay store? I don't want to open up 15 more eBay stores, or lose my "Top Seller" rating in all but one location.

A. You can continue to have each of your 16 stores posting items to that single eBay account. Sub-accounts for eBay and Paypal will be created so each location will see which location is responsible for any negative feedback, returns, refunds, and accounting that will all be handled at the store level.

Q. Can items be listed on eBay and not Buya?

A. No, the platform design requires all eBay items must also be for sale on Buya.

Q. How will the shipping process work?

A. Our current plan is feed eBay with our FLAT RATE shipping amounts. (This can be edited while pricing in Bravo)

Q. Is Bravo capable of preventing us from breaking eBay regulations? Such as double listings or restricted items?

A. Bravo will not prevent you from breaking eBay regulations - you will still be responsible for your account and following eBay's rules.

Q. Can the eBay listing be edited after Bravo posts it?

A. Some changes can take place after posting to eBay.

Q. Can Bravo's eBay listings be edited before posting to eBay?

A. In the Bravo/eBay product, a new Web Description will be added and can be edited including up to 5 pictures per item.

Q. Can Bravo Stores use their existing eBay account (and thus feedback)?

A. Yes and we highly recommend that our users continue to use their current eBay Account.

Q. How long is the success fee going to be locked in?

A. Bravo fees are never locked in.

Q. How is Bravo going to be addressing eBay's category system?

A. Bravo will AUTO match to eBay's category (Taxonomy). In Web Options, other eBay categories may be selected and added as well.
