Ebay Product-Based Experience

You will learn how Bravo supports eBay’s Product-Based Shopping Experience by matching listings to eBay catalog products for improved visibility and compliance.

Starting in May, 2018, when some specific items are listed on eBay, a registered eBay Product must be selected for that item before it can be posted. In the first phase of eBay's roll-out of the Product-Based Experience, the following categories of items must be associated with a registered eBay Product:

If the eBay Product is not selected for the item and it is required for the selected item metadata, you will receive a validation error upon attempting to post your listing.

Click on the "..." button next to the "eBay Product" metadata field to search for registered eBay products that match your selected metadata.

Select the correct model from the Select eBay Product dialog. Bravo searches for potential product matches by checking the following, in order:

  1. UPC
  2. MPN
  3. Keywords, if neither UPC or MPN return any results

Once selected, you will be able to proceed with placing the item on eBay.

If the Select eBay Product dialog appears and the list of results is empty, then the search has returned no results. Check the other metadata to make sure you're searching in the right eBay category for the given UPC. For example, the list will be empty if you search for an iPhone-related UPC, but the selected eBay Category is "Tablets & eBook Readers". In this case, you should change the eBay Category to "Cell Phones & Smartphones".
