Calculating Commissions

Trade-in Calculation:

Commissions on trades depend on your settings:

Return/Sale Calculation:

  • Formula: (Sale Amount – Trade-In Sale Amount) × Retail Commission %

Example:

  • Sale: $500

  • Trade-In Sale Amount: $419.99

  • Remaining Amount: $80.01

  • Commission (10%): $8

Buy/Sale Calculation:

  • Formula: (Sale Amount – Trade-In Cost) × Retail Commission %

Example:

  • Sale: $500

  • Trade-In Cost: $169.99

  • Remaining Amount: $330.01

  • Commission (10%): $33

Note: Set "Base Sales Commission On" to Sale Amount to enable these calculations.

Special Cases

  • MobilePawn Payments: Interest/fees payments via MobilePawn credit commission to the associate who originated the loan. Bravo's Employee Activity report credits these to SYSTEM.

  • Returns: Returns subtract from overall sales and can reduce commissions.

  • Layaways and Gun Holds: Sales are credited to associates only upon final transaction pick-up.
