Working with Expired Transactions

Instructions

  • From the Bravo Dashboard, search for and select a customer to work with.
  • In the Transactions screen, select Expired Transactions from the left side menu.
  • The Expired Transactions window appears.
  • Once displayed, you can toggle back to the Pending Transactions window by clicking the Pending Transactions button on the lower left side.

The Expired Transactions window shows:

  • Type - The type of transaction
  • Item Status - The Status of the item (or "<multiple>", if the ticket had more than one item and not all items have the same Status)
  • Store - The store where the transaction originated
  • Number - The ticket number
  • Item - The item description
  • End Date - The date and time when the ticket was expired/canceled/returned

By default, only expired transactions from the current store will be shown, but the store selector, Displaying From in the upper-right has a pull-down menu option to display transactions from other stores.

Selecting a transaction and then clicking the OK button will pull that transaction ticket up in Transaction Staging, where you can:

  • View the details of an expired buy ticket
  • Reactivate an expired loan ticket
  • Sell or create a layaway for an expired/canceled layaway item, as long as that item is in stock and priced as inventory
  • Reloan or Reconsign items from a returned consignment

For expired loans and buys with multiple items shown in parentheses.

  • Select the Expired Loan or Buy
  • Click the Items button to display a list of items from the ticket.
  • Then you can select one of the items to sell or add to a layaway, as long as that item is in stock and priced as inventory.
  • If there is only one item on the ticket, it will automatically be added to Transaction Staging when you click the Items button.
