With the release of plugin version 1.2, FINDER now has the ability to travel through FTP (File Transfer Protocol)! This makes it so that all you have to do to post it to Pawn Web is send the new items and they upload automatically to your account!
The things you'll need to do FTP with FINDER are:
- Police Store ID - Call your PD that will be reviewing the data for this.
- Export Type will be PawnWeb - This will become available once you do the download here .
- FTP User Name & FTP Password - Call FINDER and get a FTP login and password (the generic login to the site itself will not work)
- FTP Server URL - ftp2.pawnweb.org - however if the FINDER associate gives you a different URL, use that instead.
Enter all of this information in the PRIMARY POLICE EXPORT CONFIG. To get there starting at the Dashboard, go to System Configuration, open the Configuration Tab, scroll down to POLICE EXPORT CONFIG and then open that up to find PRIMARY POLICE EXPORT CONFIG.
