2019 ATF Enhancements

New Write Off Reason - DUPLICATE

Select the duplicate item.

Right click and choose Write off Item.

From the Reason drop down menu, select DUPLICATE.

Note: Duplicate is only available as an option for items that were purchased from the vendor.  Items that were brought in as Pawn or Buy will not be able to be written off as duplicates.

Once you select DUPLICATE, you will be asked to enter the duplicated ATF book line number.

When you enter the line number and select OK, the item will be written off. The ATF A&D Book will show the disposition as DUPLICATE and will reference the duplicated line number (correct line number for the item).

The Bravo version of the A&D book also reflects the duplicated record.

RETURN TO VENDOR Changes

The write off reason "Return to Vendor" has now been restricted to only work with items that were actually purchased from a vendor.

The item below was brought in via Pawn.  When it is written off, RETURN TO VENDOR is no longer an option.

The next item was brought in via PURCHASE.  In this case RETURN TO VENDOR is a valid write off reason.

When RETURN TO VENDOR is selected, the original vendor is automatically filled in.

The ATF A&D Book will reflect that the item was returned to the vendor.

STORE ERROR/OTHER No Longer Shows "Lost"

When an item is written off as "STORE ERROR/OTHER" the ATF A&D book will no longer show the disposition as lost.

The below item was written off as STORE ERROR/OTHER.

The ATF A&D Book now reflects STORE ERROR/OTHER as the disposition.

The Bravo version of the A&D Book will also reflect STORE ERROR/OTHER as the disposition.

If a firearm is written off for reason STORE ERROR/OTHER, additional comments can be added to the A&D book.  These comments will not show on the standard ATF version of the book, but will be visible in the firearm record and will show on the Bravo version.
