Hardware with Multiple MAC Addresses
Learn how Bravo handles hardware with multiple MAC addresses and why it’s important to use the primary network adapter for licensing and workstation identification.
Sometimes a device may connect to the internet via several different MAC addresses (e.g. A tablet that connects via WiFi when used as a stand-alone device, but connects via a NIC when plugged into a docking station). By default, Bravo may view these two MAC addresses as two separate pieces of hardware.
First, attempt these steps:
- Release hardware (If license previously used with another piece of hardware; this will require you to contact customer support.)
- Start Bravo on tablet while wireless & undocked
- Enter license
- Close Bravo
- Put tablet on dock
- Start Bravo
If the steps above do not work, please contact Bravo support at 888-407-6287, option 3.
