How to Reset Your License Key
This article will walk you through the process of changing license keys or swapping out a workstation.
Step One:
You will need the full license string to complete the replacement.
- Go to Windows-R. This will bring up the "Run" dialog put in "regedit" and click "OK".

- Navigate to Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\ZTI\Bravo\License

Step Two:
Take note of which workstation is being replaced. Hover over the profile icon on the very top right of Bravo.

In the above example, the workstation is called "BRAVO - TRAVIS - HOME DESKTOP".
*NOTE* If the computer that is being replaced is no longer operational, you will need to check the names of all other workstations in your store so that you can determine which computer is down by process of elimination.
Step Three:
Replace Hardware from System Configuration.
- On a computer with full access to Bravo, click on System Configuration.

- Click on the arrow by your store code to open the menu. Next click on the arrow by Workstations to expand the list of available workstation. Navigate to the workstation that you want to replace.

- You should see a screen that has the information of the workstation. Click Edit.
- Once you click Edit, the Replace Hardware button will light up. Click on Replace Hardware to release the License Key from the old workstation.

- You will know you have successfully released the license when the MAC Address field clears out.

- Click Save.
The old computer will no longer be associated with this license key. Now the license key can be freely put on the new computer or workstation.
Step Four:
Install Bravo on the new workstation.
- Please go to bravoinstall.com and download the Production Environment on the right side

- Once you have installed Bravo, you'll be prompted to enter your license key.

Please note:
- If you do not see the Replace Hardware button, please ensure you have the security bit enabled.
- Each license key can only be associated to one computer at a time.
