Looking to streamline your customer experience with seamless credit card integration? Bravo has partnered with Fortis credit card processing, allowing you to process transactions directly from Bravo to your credit card terminal—with the transaction details effortlessly syncing back into Bravo.
But how does it all come together? Where do you begin? No need to worry—this guide will walk you through the entire setup process step by step. First, we’ll cover the necessary requirements, then we’ll walk you through obtaining the essential tools, and finally, we’ll show you how to configure your terminal to work smoothly with Bravo. Let’s get started!
Step 1: Contact Fortis
The first thing you are going to want to do is to contact Fortis and inform them that you wish to utilize Fortis credit card processing with Bravo Pawn Systems. The contact number for Fortis is:
(772) 360-4646
Once you contact Fortis and inform them of your request, they will get started with the process of setting you up an account with Fortis. You will need to inform them that you need a credit card terminal and they will get you going with the correct model terminal. They will also help you set up your credit card terminal so that it will be ready for use with Bravo. Secondly, you will need to request an API key from Fortis. Fortis should already be aware of this, however if it is not mentioned during the call simply bring it up as this API key is essential to the functionality. Once you’ve set up your account with Fortis and you’ve obtained and set up the credit card terminal and you’ve obtained your API key you are ready to take the next step, contacting Bravo!
Fortis will batch out at a standard time of 8:30pm EST, so if your store is going to close later than this you will need to let Fortis know that they need to change your batch out time.
Step 2: Obtaining and Setting Up Your Terminal
Once you’ve contacted Fortis and have your Fortis Credit Card Terminal we will need to get everything setup, plugged in, and powered on! If you contact Fortis they will assist you with setup of your credit card terminal, otherwise we’re happy to help however we can! Currently the model Terminal we have set up instructions for is the DeJavoo Z11.

The DeJavoo Z11 has 7 ports these include One Ethernet Port, One Power Supply Port, 2 USB ports, One COM 1 Port, and 2 COM 2 Ports. The only ports you need to be concerned with are the Ethernet Port (if you are hardwiring your Terminal to your internet) and the Power Supply Port. Simply get the ethernet cable and power supply cables and insert them into the respective ports, then you’re all set! (see photo for details of cables and their respective ports)
If you are setting up your Z11 on WiFi, simply click on the date in the top left-hand corner, tap on the WiFi symbol , tap on your Local WiFi Network (DO NOT USE YOUR GUEST WIFI NETWORK, ENSURE THAT YOU ARE USING A SECURE WIFI NETWORK SOLELY FOR THE CREDIT CARD TERMINAL), then type in the password for your WiFi Network. The terminal will now connect and if successful will say connected! Tap the red key two time to go back to the home screen. For more info on Network Setup see this Article HERE! If you have a firewall in place on your network please navigate to this Solution Center Article HERE for a list of ports and IPs that need to be setup. If you have a Credit Card Terminal that is NOT the Z11, you will need to contact Fortis in order to get that set up properly.
Step 3: Contact Bravo
For step three the team at Fortis will contact support at Bravo and set up your store according to your preferences.
Step 4: Training
Now the fun truly begins! Once you’ve set everything up with Fortis and Bravo, it’s time to set up some time for Training! In training you’ll go over how to process transactions in Bravo using your Fortis credit card terminal as well as some basic functionalities like voiding a Fortis payment and processing a return on a credit/debit card all done by the team at Fortis.
