Jewelry Estimator Guide

You will learn how to use Bravo’s Jewelry Estimator to assess and intake jewelry, including entering details for diamonds, metals, brands, and custom descriptions.

The Jewelry Estimator allows you to begin the process of appraising the value of jewelry items. You can select the Jewelry Estimator from the Dashboard by clicking the Jewelry Estimator button.

Jewelry Estimator main screen

We will cover the main parts of the Jewelry Estimator screen as shown above from 1 - 10.

1. Customer Search - Find your customer for a Pawn, Buy, Consignment or Trade transaction.

2. Precious Metals calculator divided into Gold, Platinum, Silver and Other metals. Includes info on weight, purity and color for Gold and Other tabs

3. Category - Select the correct type from a wide variety of categories.

4. Diamond Assessment - Start with cut of stone, can select from drop down list or scroll through the images.

5. Lab Grown Diamonds - Choosing this option will lower the estimate based on the configured lab-grown percentages.

6. Color - From Absolute White - Yellow/Dark.  This assessment tool is only accurate for White Diamonds.  All other colored diamonds would be classified as "Stones"

7. Clarity - From IF-VVs2 to <I3

8. Diamond Count/Size - Quantity of Stones, size for each stone or total carat weight for piece, Actual size and the Diamond calculator - If carat weight is not known, measure with calipers and enter measurement.

9. Diamond Estimate - Provides estimated diamond values based on color, cut, clarity, and size. For Lab Grown diamonds, the estimate is reduced according to the estimator's settings.

10. Color Tab - Color Stone assessment tool. This is where all other stones' values are assessed.

A. Stone Type - Scroll through the images or use the drop down list.

B. Stone Cut - Scroll through the images or use the drop down list.

C. Quantity of Stones - Each or total carat weight, Stone Calculator and quality assessment sliding bar.

D. Stone Estimate - Gives the estimated value for Pawn / Buy

10. Additional Information Tab - This is where additional information is stored, including size, location, engravings, notes and passwords.

11. Brand Tab - Select from a list of available brands.

12. Images Tab - Upload or take images of the jewelry item.

13. Free Form Entry Tab - A simplified way to enter jewelry items bypassing the Diamonds Tab assessment tools.

Note. You can still select a Brand and include pictures of the item(s).
