Large Ticket Label

You will learn how to print Large Ticket Labels in Bravo, including setup steps and formatting options for high-visibility item tags.

In addition to Master Jewelry Labels for groups of jewelry items and/or individual item labels Bravo can be configured to print a Large Ticket Label for the following:

  • Loan tickets/items
  • Buy tickets/items
  • Consignment tickets/items with a consignment hold period
  • Trade-In tickets/items
  • Layaway items

The Large Ticket Label is designed to make it easier to locate the ticket items within the warehouse, even if they are stored on high shelves or across the room. These Large Ticket Labels contain the following information:

  • A large-font printing of the numeric portion of the ticket number (ticket-type letters and store letter code removed)
  • The last name and first initial of the customer
  • The transaction date

The below graphic shows the difference between a regular Pawn Ticket Label and a large Ticket Label.

The large ticket label prints to the general merchandise label printer (Labels).  These labels use the same stock as a regular label.

There are multiple options to determine the number of Large Ticket Labels you wish to print. Simply navigate to System Configuration, select the Configuration tab, Select POP CONFIG.

Select one of the options under Print Large Ticket Labels.

Below is a summary of each option, and how it will behave when you process transactions with applicable items.

  • No Large Ticket Label - No Large Ticket Label will be printed. Only regular item labels and a Master Jewelry Label, if configured, will print.
  • One per Ticket - Only one Large Ticket Label will be printed, regardless of the number of items on the ticket. You would typically select this option if you were going to place all ticket items in the same area.
  • One for Each Item - One Large Ticket Label will print for each ticket item, regardless of its item type. If Master Jewelry Label is enabled and this option is selected, the system will still print one label for each item described by the Master Jewelry Label. For example, one Master Jewelry Label and three Large Ticket Labels will print for a loan with three rings.
  • One per Jewelry Item - One Large Ticket Label will print for each jewelry item, but no Large Ticket Labels will print for any general merchandise items. If Master Jewelry Label is enabled and this option is selected, the system will still print one label for each item described by the Master Jewelry Label. For example, one Master Jewelry Label and three Large Ticket Labels will print for a loan with three rings.
  • One per General Merchandise Item - One Large Ticket Label will print for each general merchandise item, but no Large Ticket Labels will print for any jewelry items. This is preferable if Master Jewelry Label is enabled, since the Master Jewelry Label will be the only one you need for the envelope of jewelry items, and you will still get Large Ticket Labels for each non-jewelry item on the ticket.

Below is a quick-reference table that will help you anticipate the number of Large Ticket Labels that will print under varying store configurations:
