Manufacturing A&D Book Format
Learn how Bravo’s Manufacturing A&D Book format helps FFL manufacturers manage combined acquisition and disposition entries for compliance.
Are you a firearms manufacturer with an 07 or 08 FFL? We've got great news for you! We've just added a new Manufacturing A&D Book format to our software, designed specifically to meet the unique needs of manufacturers. Here's what you need to know:
What's New?
Our 3.1.3 update included a special A&D Book layout for manufacturers. This new format adds a "Country of Manufacture" field, making it easier for you to comply with ATF requirements for manufacturers.
Why It Matters?
As a manufacturer, you have special responsibilities when it comes to record-keeping. This new format helps you:
- Stay on the right side of ATF rules
- Keep track of where each gun was made
- Be ready for ATF inspections
- Match up your records with Form 4473s
- Help law enforcement if they need to trace a gun
By using this new layout, you're making sure you've got all your bases covered. It's a simple way to keep your business running smoothly and avoid any headaches down the road.
How to Set It Up:
- From the Dashboard go to your System Configuration
- Head to the Configuration Tab
- Look for the option "Display Country of Manufacture for Firearms" and check the box.
- That's it! You'll now see the Country of Manufacture field when adding or editing firearms.
Using the New Format Once enabled, you'll see the Country of Manufacture field in several places:
- When adding or editing items
- In the "Edit ATF Record" section
- On your ATF A&D Book reports
Printing Your A&D Book: When you print your A&D Book, you'll now have a new option called "ATF Standard Print Version -- Manufacturing". This layout includes all the fields required for manufacturers, including the Country of Manufacture.
