Stores using Bravo's MobilePawn app for customer payments on pawns and layaways are configured to send courtesy notifications to customers. When pawns and layaways are created, customers who have not yet activated MobilePawn will receive a courtesy text message with an invitation to download and activate the MobilePawn app. These text messages will be sent immediately after a pawn or layaway is created, but the customer will only receive a new app invitation message if it has been more than seven days since they received their last invitation.
When pawns and layaways are coming due, customers will receive payment reminders. Pawn customers will receive reminder notices just before the pawn's due date - Five days before, three days before, one day before, then finally on the due date. Layaway customers will receive a notice one day before the Next Due date, so if the layaway is paid, then the notification will happen again one day before the Next Due date.
If the pawn or layaway customer has not yet activated MobilePawn, they will receive a text message instead of the MobilePawn message. The text message will inform them of the impending due date and give them a link to download and install MobilePawn.
Messages will be sent at 10am local time.
MobilePawn Onboarding Notifications
After a customer logs in to MobilePawn, Bravo will automatically send notifications to that customer to help them learn about the app's features. These onboarding notifications will be sent only as app notifications. The messages will briefly explain one of the app's features, and will have a link to a demo video for that feature.
Messages will be scheduled to be sent based on the customer's MobilePawn Activation Date, which you can display via the Column Chooser on the Customers screen. The schedule of the messages is as follows:
- 1 day after Activation - Pawn Payment Onboarding
- 3 days after Activation - Layaway Payment Onboarding
- 5 days after Activation - Shopping Onboarding
- 7 days after Activation - Store Chat Onboarding
- 10 days after Activation - Sell/Borrow/Quote Onboarding

Navigate from the Dashboard to Customers, then select Schedule Mobile Event. These notice templates cannot be edited, but you can view them by clicking on the bubble of the notice template you wish to view.
You can uncheck the checkbox to disable a MobilePawn Layaway Notice or MobilePawn Loan Courtesy Reminder event if you prefer less frequent scheduling of the automatic payment reminders. Click Ok to save changes when enabling or disabling scheduled mobile events - clicking Cancel will not save your changes.
Events for MobilePawn Onboarding messages cannot be disabled.
Text message notification
New Loans:
The customer will only get this message through text as incentive to sign up for MobilePawn while still in the store.
Payment Reminders:
This is what the text message notification looks like for payment reminders. It briefly describes that it is from the store, the ticket number that is due and the instructions to download and activate MobilePawn.
These messages will only be sent to the customer if the store has payments through MobilePawn allowed.
