MobilePawn Notifications

You will learn how MobilePawn notifications work in Bravo, including how to send alerts for payments, due dates, and promotions directly to the customer’s app.

Send loan notices, courtesy reminders, promotional offers, and personalized messages to your customers via the MobilePawn app. The process is as simple as the equivalent messaging process via SMS without the added individual message cost.

MobilePawn messages may only be sent to customers who have activated their MobilePawn app. 

 

Send a personalized notification

The phone icon will show a notification box for customers who have activated their MobilePawn app.

Click on this icon in the following places to send a notification to a single customer:

  • View Customer screen
  • Customers found dialog
  • Last customer mini-view on the Dashboard
  • MobilePawn column in Management screen grids (Layaway Management, Loan/Buy Management, eCommerce Management, Customer Management, Consignment Management)
  • Left panel customer views (all screens mentioned in the line above, plus the Repair Management screen, Transactions screen, and Transactions (Void View) screen

Type the message you want to send and click Send to send the notification immediately.

 

Schedule a message to be sent later

You can also send the same message to one or multiple customers at a later date/time by selecting one or more customers in a Management screen grid, then selecting Send Mobile Message from the right panel.

 

Hold the Ctrl key in these screens to select multiple customers. After clicking Send Mobile Message, select the Message Type, Event Date, and Event Time, and then enter the Message to be sent.

 

The Message Type selector allows you to schedule the message to be sent via these methods:

  • MobilePawn notification only (MOBILEPAWN)
  • SMS message only (SMS)
  • MobilePawn if activated, SMS if MobilePawn is not activated (AUTO)

After filling out all fields, click Send to queue the message to be sent later.

 

Schedule a notification event to be sent later to all eligible customers

In the Customer Management screen, you can schedule an MobilePawn notification to be sent to all mobile enabled customers later.

You MUST enter in your store's name in the message if you want it to appear in the Mobile Event.

 

To begin, select Schedule Mobile Event from the right panel of this screen.

 

Click Add New event and select the event type.

 

  • Custom - This is a one time event that is sent to all mobile enabled customers.
  • Birthday - This automatically sends a message to all customers on their birthday.
  • Store Anniversary - This automatically sends a message to all customers annually on the anniversary date of their first transaction in the store.
  • Loan Courtesy Reminder - This automatically sends a Courtesy Loan Reminder message to all customers on or before the due date of their loans.
  • Layaway Notice This automatically sends a Courtesy Layaway Reminder message to all customers on or before the due date of their layaways.

Set the Name of the event, select the date and time to send the message, and enter the contents of the message to be sent. The selector allows you to schedule the message to be sent via these methods:

  • MobilePawn notification only (MOBILEPAWN)
  • SMS message only (SMS)
  • MobilePawn if activated, SMS if MobilePawn is not activated (AUTO)

After filling out all fields, click Ok to save your changes and queue the message to be sent later.

 

Send a loan notice or courtesy reminder

From the Loans/Buys screen, select one or multiple loans. Hold the Ctrl key on the keyboard while selecting multiple loans.

 

Next, select Send Mobile Notice or Send Mobile Courtesy Reminder. The Message Type of the notification or courtesy reminder will be determined by whether the customer has activated MobilePawn, so if you select a loan for a customer who hasn't activated MobilePawn, the message will be sent via SMS automatically.
