Move an Employee Profile to Another Store

Learn how to move an employee profile to a different store in your company.

To change the store where an employee's profile is located, view the employee's profile from within System Configuration and select the Change Store button in the upper-right corner.

 

The Choose New Store dialog will appear. Select the new store for the employee via the drop-down selector, then select Save to save your changes.

 

If there is already an employee at the destination store with the same Alias, your changes will not be saved. You will have to change the employee's Alias and try again.

 

Once successfully saved, the screen will update and the employee profile will now be located in the destination store.
