Multi-Item Layaways
Learn how to set up and manage Multi-Item Layaways in Bravo, allowing multiple items to be grouped under one layaway with shared payment terms.

If a customer wants to put more than one item on the same Layaway ticket, Bravo can accommodate this.
Instructions
- To begin writing a multi-item Layaway, pull up one of the items in the Transactions screen, then click To Layaway underneath the line item.

- To turn the single-item Layaway into a multi-item Layaway, select Add Items at the bottom of the New Layaway Detail dialog.

- Clicking the Add Items button opens the Layaway Items window for managing multiple Layaway items.
- Add items using the Inventory Number search field, or remove them with the red 'X'.
- Set individual Selling Prices and a total discount for all items.
- You can also choose Tax-included or Nontaxable options.
- When ready, click Ok.

When a Layaway has multiple items, the Transactions screen has an updated layout 1) now displaying a blue number next to the Layaway ticket number that you can click on for details on all Layaway items, 2) the ability to toggle through the items in the ticket and 3) the repositioning of the buttons for Layaway History, Layaway Journal, Cancel and Item History.

- Clicking on the blue number next to the ticket number will give further information on the items.

- Once the transaction is paid, the layaway items cannot be separated.
The layaway receipt will show all items on the layaway

Bravo will print labels for each item


Layaways screen
- For multi-item Layaways, the Layaway Amount column on the Layaways screen displays the same total for each item.
- Subsequent items show the Layaway Amount in grey, indicating it shouldn't be included in sums; only the black number counts.
- Use the Column Chooser (right-click the title row) to add Item Amount for individual item sale amounts.
- The Item Total Due column shows the prorated sale amount, including tax.

Layaway History and Journal Reports:
- These reports will display the first few header items and indicate that more exist. To view full item details, the layaway transaction must be looked up.
