NFA Item Categories
You will learn how to classify and manage NFA firearm items in Bravo by selecting the correct item categories to ensure accurate tracking and compliance.
The National Firearms Act, also known as the NFA, provides restrictions and additional taxes for special firearms, including but not limited to these types of items:
- Full Automatic Weapons
- Silencers
- Short Barreled Rifles/Shotguns
- Explosive Devices
To support logging of these items in the ATF A&D Book, a special "NFA Items" category must be enabled for the store, which allows you to manually enter Firearm Type, Caliber, and Action. This is disabled for stores by default, so if your store is licensed to deal in these types of items, please call a Bravo representative to request enabling Estimator use of the NFA Items category.
