Online Review Booster
Learn how to use Bravo’s Online Review Booster to request customer reviews after transactions and boost your store’s online reputation automatically.
Bring more first-time customers into your store. Capitalize on giving customers a great experience. Guide customers to their preferred review website. Not limited to only one review site. Maintain fresh and current referrals on all the hottest websites.
Prerequisite: The store must have Text Messaging (SMS) enabled.
The review message sent will be a link tree to all of the available review sites you enable. It will not send a direct link in the SMS to each of the review sites.

How to get it:
Contact your Bravo representative. You can also get started by filling out the form here
Concerns & Considerations:
Make sure your business profile is up to date on all the websites where a review can be performed. Have all your business profiles ready to show the Bravo representative when this feature is enabled.
Once enabled, it is imperative that you setup all the business profiles in the Bravo Review Links section. Giving the customer more opportunities to give you a positive review gives your business the best chance of getting a review. Example, customer might have a Facebook account, but not a Google account, so it is best to give the customer the option to stick with their existing Facebook account. Forcing a customer to setup a new account in order to give you a review will often result in no review, or worse a bad review.
Once everything is setup, the next decision is how often you want the review links sent to your customers? With every transaction? Only specific transactions? There are positives and negatives to both options. Great news though, you can change it later if you wish. If a review link is sent with every transaction, people who had bad experiences will review your store. If a review link is sent with every transaction, your reviews will be current and plentiful. If a review link is only sent on select transactions, there is a greater chance of having more positive reviews, but that comes at the cost of having fewer reviews.
How to Start or Setup:
All the configuration for online reviews is held in the configuration tab of system config. (System config -> Configuration Tab -> Customer Engagement)

CitySearch:
Once you’ve setup your store on citysearch.com, you will need to take note of “Business ID” and “Listing Name” These specific items will become the unique portion of the URL Bravo will need. When setting up in Bravo, use the below example URL.
Replace “{your business ID}” with the Business ID they give you. Do not add any spaces or characters.
Replace “{your listing name}” with the Listing Name they give you. Do not add any spaces or characters.
http://www.citysearch.com/review/create?listingId={your business ID}&listingName={your listing name}
Facebook:
Once you’ve setup your store on facebook.com, you will need to take note of your “Business Page” link/URL. Your “Business Page” link is what will make the below URL unique to your store. Navigate to your Facebook page and simply add /reviews/ to the URL:
https://www.facebook.com/{your business page}/reviews/
Google:
First, make sure your store is listed on Google Maps. In many cases, it may already be there even if you haven’t created the listing yourself. If you haven’t set it up, search for your business on Google Maps and claim the listing to gain access and editing rights.
Once your store is confirmed on Google Maps, you'll need to locate your Place ID—a unique identifier for your business location. To find it, visit the following site:
https://developers.google.com/places/place-id. To get your Place ID follow the steps below. If you already have your Place ID skip to #4
1. After going to the site above enter the address of your store, or if you have your Business on Google type in the Business Name
2. It should pop up with a ping for you to choose from

3. Click on the ping and the site will take you to your address. Here is where google will show you your Place ID so you can copy it
4. Replace “{insert Place ID}” with the Place ID from Google. Do not add any spaces or characters.
https://search.google.com/local/writereview?placeid={insert Place ID}
If you need additional help with the google review, try this site here as well as here
Yelp:
Once your business is setup on yelp, make sure to get your Business ID. The Business ID is the part of the URL unique to your store.
Replace “{your business ID}” with your Business ID. Do not add any spaces or characters.
https://www.yelp.com/writeareview/biz/{your business ID}
Review Link Message Template:
For most stores, there is no need to edit this, but if you want to personalize what is sent, this is where you change it. See more details on the Review Link Message Template Here
Best Use and Steps:
Make sure to setup your store on at least two or more review sites.
The review link can be sent from the tender screen near the customer image. The checkbox can be checked or unchecked before saving the transaction.

Review links can be sent at any time from the left side view of the customer.

Customer screen also has the icon to send review links.

Mobile Number:
When you select the Send Review Link button from the tender screen, a window will appear with an editable mobile number displayed at the top. If you update the mobile number in this window, it will automatically update the customer’s phone number in the system. Once the correct number is entered, click SEND to send the review invite.

Empty mobile number:
If the customer does not have a mobile number, the Send Review Link window will still appear with a blank mobile number. This gives you the opportunity to enter a mobile number. If no mobile number is entered, it will not allow you to try sending to a blank or empty number.

Third Party:
When completing a transaction with a third party customer. The third party customer should receive the review link. Unless there is a shipping line item, then the original customer should receive the review link. Goal here is to get the review link to the person paying for the transaction. If the third party is in the store, they are paying for the transaction. If the third party is involved with shipping, then it is an out of state firearm shipment to an FFL.
