When entering an item for Pawn or Buy, it is necessary to go through the estimator. If you don't see the item and you know that it is a unique one that may not come through again, you can treat this item as a One of a Kind.
Some items that you may consider one of a kind are:
- Antiques
- Art
- Unusual Instruments
- Items that are uncommon
Instructions
- From the Dashboard, click on the the side of the Product Estimator button.
- From the right-side menu select Add Item - One-Of-A-Kind
- This will bring you to the Add Item Screen in the Estimator:
- The Category, Full Description, and Web Title default to "One of a Kind".
- The Tag Description will default to "Item".
- In order to clear these defaults, you need to manually input the item details.
Example:
- In this example, we are looking at a piece of art. The Full Description, Tag Description and the Web Title are changed.
- On One-Of-A-Kind items, there are no Quality Assessment questions to evaluate the item.
- Bravo provides links to Google, Buya and eBay by the image box. These searches can make your appraisal easier.
- Once you determine the Pawn or Buy amount and negotiate with the customer.
- Click Next to continue the Loan or Buy as usual.
