PayPal Setup Guide
Learn how to set up PayPal as a payment method in Bravo, including linking your account and configuring necessary system settings.

BUYA Setup for PayPal
PART I - Create a PayPal Business Account
You can use an existing business account, if you have one. If you do, skip to Part II.
Step One: If you do not already have a PayPal business account, start by clicking here.

You will not need any of the optional upgrades. When presented with account options, select Standard.
Click Sign up.
Step Two: Select Business Account and click Next.

Step Three: Enter your store's email address and click Continue.

Select a password and click Continue.

Step Four: Complete the form telling PayPal a little more about your store. Click to "Agree and Continue"


Click on the link to see the user agreement and privacy policy. Check the box once you have read them, click Agree and Create Account.
You will need to verify your account by providing some information about the primary account holder, including social security number. If you have any questions on what is required to sign up for a business account, contact PayPal directly.
PART II - Request/Set up API Credentials
Step One: Login to your PayPal Business Account here.
Step Two: Go to your profile and select "Account Settings"

Step Three: Under Account access select "Update" next to "API access"

Step Four: Select "NVP/SOAP API Intregration (Classic)"

Step Five: Select "Request API Signature" and click "Agree and Submit"

Step Six: Select "Pre-Built Payment Solution"

Step Seven: Select "Add API User"

Step Eight: Type in steve_api1.ztradingpost.com under "Add new third party permissions"
Step Nine: Check the following 4 boxes:
- Use Express Checkout to process payments.
- Issue a refund for a specific transaction.
- Process your customers credit or debit card payments.
- Authorize and capture your PayPal transactions.
Step Ten: Select "Add" at the bottom of the screen.
