Police Export Configuration for Leads Online

You will learn how to configure Bravo’s Police Export for LeadsOnline, ensuring item and transaction data is reported accurately to law enforcement systems.

Registering with Leads Online

In order to get setup with Leads Online Reporting you will first need to register.

Go to www.leadsonline.com

 

Select I Am A Business from the right hand side of the screen.

Submit the Registration.

Leads Online support will call you and give you your Store ID number.  Let them know that you have Bravo's software and will use FTP (File Transfer Protocol).  Leads Online Support will create your FTP account and give you an FTP username and password.  (These will be the same username and password that you selected during your registration EXCEPT for use with FTP, all letters will be lower-case.)

PLEASE NOTE: With Bravo, your FTP username and password CAN contain uppercase letters and/or special characters.  It is important to advise the Leads Online rep that you are using Bravo because they need to verify on their side that FTP is setup and ready to be used. Another important note would be that the Leads Online website is NOT case sensitive, but Bravo's FTP username/password for it IS. So it is very important to enter the correct capitalization in Bravo.
If you or Leads Online reset your username or password, you will also need to change your FTP Username and/or Password in Bravo as well! So make sure to contact Leads Online if this is the case.

 

 

 

 

Police Export Configuration

Start by checking your Police Export Configuration settings. Select System Configuration from the Bravo Dashboard.

 

Navigate to the Configuration Tab, then scroll down and open Police Export Config.  You are going to want to edit the Primary Police Export Config settings.

Enter the following settings:

 

  • For Police Store ID enter your Leads Online Store ID
  • For Export Type select the appropriate Leads Online Option (see below)
  • Enter your FTP User ID
    • This is the same username you selected in your registration, but for use with FTP all letters will be lower-case
  • Enter your FTP Password 
    • This is the same password you selected in your registration, but for use with FTP all letters will be lower-case
  • Leave Store License blank
  • Leave Police Division blank
  • Export Images to Leads Online
    • From the drop down list, select any image types that need to be sent to Leads Online with your export.

Click Save.

Bravo has several options for Leads Online Export.  You will need to choose the correct export for your store and jurisdiction.

Multiple phone numbers. Mobile phone takes priority in reporting. If the customer has a home phone and a mobile phone, the export to Leads Online will be the Mobile phone.

 

Sending the Export

Click on Police Exports from the Bravo Dashboard.  Alternatively you can access this function from the Loans/Buys screen.

 

Select the radio button next to Send New Items

 

If you need to resend an earlier date, select the radio button  next to Resend Prior Export and select the correct date.

Bravo will gather the data for export to Leads.  You will see a progress bar showing the status of your export:

 

Once complete, the status bar will disappear.

The Police Export Button will now show no active items.

 

Your export is complete for the day. The information has been sent to Leads Online through the FTP.

If you need to view the export that was sent, select Loans/Buys from the Bravo Dashboard. Leads Online also has the option for automatic exports once the store is closed. To set this up call Bravo support at (888) 407-6287 option 3.

 

From the lower right hand side of the screen, select View Police Export

 

Select the date that you need to view

 

You will see the exported items for that date.  From here you can print or save the list if necessary.
