There are some System Configuration changes needed to make sure each transaction has all the required information. We will start with the customer required, then one thing for the items.

Customer Required Fields:

The Customer Required Fields can be found in (System Config -> Transaction tab -> Customer Required Fields) Once there, select edit and make sure these below fields are checked for the Pawn transaction type. If you wish to read more about Customer Required Fields Click Here:

First And Last Name
Phone Or Email (Mobile Phone as an alternative)
Date Of Birth
Race
Sex
Hair Color
Eye Color
Height
Weight
First ID
Employer

Serial Number:

To make sure your employees do not forget to capture the serial number on every item you will need to enable "Require Serial Number". This is located (System Config -> Config tab -> POP Config -> Require Serial Number) Make sure this is checked.

File Name:

Once the export is complete, Bravo will provide you with a file to save. The file name has three components. The three components are: (Date export was created, Store Print Code, File Extension). Knowing these components will help you understand the file name. So, if I was configured to export to the Durham NC police department, my store print code is STO and I create the export on April 3, 2021. The resulting file name would be (20210403_STO.exp)

20210403 = Date export was created

STO = My store print code

exp = File extension (Every Durham NC police export will use this file extension)
