Primary and Secondary Police Export
You will learn how to set up primary and secondary police export configurations in Bravo to ensure compliance with multiple reporting agency requirements.
For stores that are required to send police exports both electronically and physically to their police department, Bravo allows for a secondary police export configuration. If one of your police exports must be sent via one of the built-in FTP exports that does not require a plugin, such as Leads Online or BWI, you will have to configure that export under the Primary Police Export Config.

A secondary export to be printed, such as the FILE Export Type, can then be configured under the Secondary Police Export Config. Notice how Leads Online, BWI, and other similar Export Types are unavailable options in the Secondary Police Export Config.

When sending the police export with a secondary export configured, the Police Export dialog will display a drop-down selector for Export Type. It will default to the primary export method. You will want to get in the habit of sending new items using your primary Export Type, then clicking Police Export again to change your Export Type and select Resend Prior Export, which will select the most recent export date (the one you just exported) by default.
Bravo keeps the last 90 DAYS of police exports for the Resend Prior Export button to use.
