Product Estimator Guide
You will learn how to use Bravo’s Product Estimator to evaluate and intake general merchandise by entering condition, category, pricing, and additional item details.
The Product Estimator in Bravo helps evaluate items for loans and purchases, initiating the appraisal process with categorized items, a price guide showing median sales prices, average loan amounts, and average buy amounts. It also includes quality assessment questions based on item type.
The estimator behavior can be configured for the stores specific needs in the Estimator Configuration under System Configuration. For configuration details, click Estimator Configuration and Set Up.

Instructions
You can access the Product Estimator from the Dashboard by clicking the Product Estimator button or using the Used Goods Smart Search field.

Clicking on The Estimator button will take you to the Find Manufacturer/Model page. Here you can search for the make and model of the items you are handling, (e.g. iPhone).

You can also get to the Product Estimator after selecting a customer with the prompt parked at the USED GOODS SMART SEARCH field ready to start your search.
After you enter your search, a drop-down of suggested models will appear.
Select an item from the list that matches your query and click Next.
The Add Item Screen is where you asses and evaluate the merchandise value.

(1) Manufacturer/Model/Category
Here is the result of your query and selection ready for further refinement and assessment.
(2) Price Guide Summary
The Price Guide Summary provides information collected from other Bravo users and curated to aid in your assessment. Here for example you find Median Sales Price, Average Loan Amount, Average Buy Amount to further aid the pawnbroker in their negotiating process.
(3) Price Guide Report
This option will open the Product Price Guide Report for the item. The report will open in your default browser. Right below it, the Edit Model gives the store the ability to add things like Manufacturer part Number, UPC, etc.
Social Item Database
The Bravo product library, known as The Social Item Database, features new model entries from users. Each entry undergoes quality checks for images, categories, UPCs, and content. Users often submit Manufacturers and Models labeled as NA, NONE, MISC, or Generic. While these will be submitted to law enforcement, they won't appear on BUYA.com.
We strongly encourage accurate entry of items in Bravo for your business's benefit. Any intentionally incorrect data will be disabled. Our exclusive Social Item Database contains models from 350 categories and is updated every minute, automatically depreciating each model. It includes images to help employees become proficient in loans, buys, pricing, consigning, and selling across all categories.
Our Product Value – B.I. (Business Intelligence) provides daily historical analytics to help employees improve evaluation and underwriting.
(4) Quality Assessment
These questions help evaluate the condition of the item and any included accessories. The condition rating of the item will have a direct impact on the item's value and the pawn/buy amount.
The number of questions varies for each item.
Answer the questions within the Item Information tab, add the serial number and UPC (if known), and add any other notes into the
(5) Additional Item Details tab.
One important thing to remember on the Additional Item Details tab is the Notes and Passwords field. If you're accepting an electronic item with a password, make sure to record it. These passwords won’t show on the pawn ticket but will be tracked with the item in the system.
The right hand side of the screen shows the
(6) Pawn or Buy amount on the right shows the amount you are willing to pay for the Pawn or Buy. The amount suggested by the Estimator can be changed and negotiated with the customer.

If your store have other options such as Consignment or Trades you will see these tabs as well next to Pawn and Buy tabs.
The system DEFAULTS to a Pawn transaction. If you are working on a Buy, Consignment or Trade, just click on the corresponding tab.
