Reactivate a Loan
Learn how to reactivate a previously expired loan, allowing you to re-establish the original loan terms and continue tracking the item as an active loan.
In some instances a customer may want to reactivate a loan that has already been forfeited and added to your inventory. There are two ways to do this in Bravo.
Instructions
Customer brought in their pawn ticket
- Enter the Loan ticket number in the Smart Search filed in the Dashboard.
- If the item is not in Inventory yet, a message that it is not in active inventory will appear.
- Select Reactivate Loan on the right hand menu.
- The Reactivate Loan window appears.
Depending on your store's set up, you will see options to Undo the Expiration without requiring payment, Redeem the Loan, Renew, or Extend Loan/Partial Payment the loan for the customer.

- Select the appropriate action and when back at the Transactions screen.
- Select Next to complete the Transaction as normal.
Customer did not bring in their pawn ticket
- Search for and select the customer.
- The Transactions screen will show the customer.
- Click Expired Transactions in the bottom left menu.
- The Expired Transactions window displays all expired transactions.
- Select the loan you want to reactivate.
- Click Ok to proceed with the selected expired loan.
- Now, back in the Transactions screen, the option to Reactivate Loan is on the right hand menu.

- Click on Reactivate Loan to proceed.
Depending on your store's set up, you will see options to Undo the Expiration without requiring payment, Redeem the Loan, Renew, or Extend Loan/Partial Payment the loan for the customer.

- Select the appropriate action and when back at the Transactions screen.
- Select Next to complete the Transaction as normal.
Note: If a multi-item loan was forfeited and one or more items from the original loan ticket have been sold, you will not have the option to Reactivate.

Note: If you have adjusted the cost of the item the customer wishes to reactivate, you will not be able to with the item as it is. You will need to adjust the cost of the item again to go back to the Original Loan Amount in order to complete the reactivation.
