- Send the Coupon: Choose to send it to an individual or group through:
- SMS from the Customer screen
- MobilePawn push notification via Scheduled Mobile Events
- Customer Uses Coupon: They’ll present the code in-store or redeem it through the MobilePawn app.
- Apply the Coupon: Coupons apply to sale items only and appear as a discount during checkout.
- Track It: Coupon usage is visible in Bravo on the Customer screen, Transaction screen, Contact History, and and reporting.
Enable and Manage Coupon Settings
Before you can use coupons, a manager must enable the feature and grant permission to employees.
Turn on Promotions and Coupon Management
- Go to System Configuration > Expand the Store> Expand the Employee
- Highlight the Employee
- Expand Promotions

- Promotions: Controls visibility of the Promotions menu, where Coupons and Mobile Events are managed.
- Options: Allowed / Not Allowed
- Recommended for: Managers or Marketing roles
- Manage Coupons: Controls the ability to create or edit coupons in the employee profiles.
- Options: Allowed / Manager Approval
- Recommended for: Managers only (requires manager approval for changes if set to Manager Approval)
⚠️ If a user is not allowed access, the Promotions menu and Coupon buttons will not appear anywhere in Bravo.
Creating a Discount Coupon
- Go to Dashboard > Promotions > Coupons
- Click Add New Coupon
- Fill in the following fields:
- Coupon Name – Internal name only; customers won’t see this.
- Coupon Code – This is what the customer uses (e.g., SAVE10).
- Coupon Amount – Choose $ or % and enter the value.
- Start Date / Expiration Date – Controls when it’s valid.
- (Optional) Individual Customer Coupon – Use this if the coupon should only work for a specific customer.
- (Optional) Restrict to Category – Limit use to specific product categories.

💡 You can edit or disable a coupon later if needed. Coupons must be enabled and not expired to send or use them.
