Send/View Police Exports

Learn how to generate and send police export files in Bravo to comply with local reporting requirements.

After your store closes, you will need to send your police exports for that day.  This can be done after the store closes, or on the next morning as you are opening your store.

To learn about sending the export via FILE, click here .

To send exports using an electronic export option, click on Police Exports from the Bravo Dashboard.

Bravo keeps the last 90 DAYS of police exports for the Resend Prior Export button to use.

Bravo will gather the data for export to the police department.  You will see a progress bar showing the status of your export:

Once complete, the status bar will disappear.

The Police Export Button will now show no active items.

Your export is complete for the day.

From the Police Export screen you can customize the layout of the police export with several different values. To find these values right click on any of the headers and select Show Column Chooser

You will be shown a list of columns to choose from. Check the box to have that column be placed in the Police Export.

Once you have added all the columns you need to hit Save Layout. This layout will now be saved to show this way for future Police Exports until it is changed.

Click on Print List to be taken to the Report Preview screen where you can save the export.

You will be brought to a Report Preview screen

Click on the Export Document icon .  This will give you a list of file types that you can save the export in.

You will get an Export Options window for the file type.

Then, you will need to click the 3 dots (aka ellipsis) and change the file path to save to as well as name the report. It is a good idea to have a folder on your desktop for this. Leave the box checked for "Open file after exporting" when saving if you need to preview the information, otherwise uncheck the box.

Choose the correct folder and give your export file a name.  Click Save.

If you preview, Bravo will open the file type that you exported to.

Close the file window when finished.

On the Report Preview screen, click Done.

You should now be back on the Police Export window.  Click Mark All As Exported from the right hand menu.

Bravo will confirm that all files were marked as exported.
