Skipping Quality Assessment when Pricing existing items

Learn how to skip the Quality Assessment step when pricing existing items in Bravo to speed up workflows and simplify inventory processing.

Last Updated:  3/24/2025

When pricing items through the Estimator in Bravo, there are times when additional Quality Assessment questions are presented that are specifically for pricing. When trying to skip these assessment questions, Bravo will give an error stating the question must be answered before proceeding to complete your pricing.

Setting the Pricing Estimator Quality Assessment Questions Optional in System Configuration will allow you to bypass these additional questions when pricing items.

This won't work if the item is being added using the Receivings estimator is Stock Management.

Bravo Settings

  • Select System Configuration from the Bravo Dashboard and then the Configuration Tab.
  • The setting to make these questions optional is located just above Associate Config.
  • Click the Edit button and then check the box to make the pricing assessment questions optional.
  • Now, when you price items through the Estimator, you are able to click Next and skip any unanswered Quality Assessment questions.
  • Items can be successfully priced without answering the additional pricing metadata questions.
