The Third Party Transfers screen is used for searching and managing FFL Vendor Transfers and Consumer Private Party Transfers.

Start a Transfer
To start a new transfer, select Start Firearm Transfer on the right panel.
Manage Transfers
You may search for a transfer by entering a transfer number or a transfer item number in the "Transfer Number" search field at the top of the screen, or by selecting "All Active" on the right panel to load all incomplete transfers. Additionally, you can use Ad Hoc Reporting to search for a transfer by the following criteria:
- Buyer/Transferee - Customer who will receive the item
- Kind - FFL Vendor Transfer ("VENDOR") or Consumer Private Party Transfer ("PRIVATE PARTY")
- Seller/Transferor - Customer or Vendor who is selling/transferring the item
- Status - Whether transfer is pending transfer, transferred, or canceled
- Status Date - Last time Status changed
For pending transfers that have been left in the store, Location can be updated. Location cannot bet set for transfers that note "IN SELLER POSSESSION" in the location field.
Select "Notes" to add and edit notes for the selected transfer.
Select "Transfer Parties View" to see the Seller/Transferor and Buyer/Transferee information and to send SMS or mobile app messages.
Right-click a transfer and select "ATF A & D Book" to view the ATF A&D Book records related to the transfer item. Note that there will be no ATF A&D Book record if the transfer is a Consumer Private Party Transfer that was not left in store and the transfer has not yet been completed.
Cancel a Transfer
To cancel a pending transfer, select "Cancel Transfer" on the right panel or after right-clicking a transfer in the grid. Transfers can only be canceled if the Status of the transfer item is "PENDING TRANSFER". If the item is in a hold firearm status, such as FIREARM IN PROCESS or FIREARM DENIED, the hold transfer must first be canceled in the Transactions screen before the transfer itself can be canceled.
Items from canceled transfers will go to an UNPRICED item Status. If the transfer was not previously left in store when the transfer was created, but then comes into store possession when the transfer is canceled, you will be required to set a location for the transfer item.
