Transaction Journal Details Report
Use the Transaction Journal in Bravo to review all sales activity, voids, edits, and tender details for accurate auditing and recordkeeping.
The Transaction Journal Details report shows all transactions at a store level, including employee and till. This report is ideal to help with reconciliations.
This report can be found under Financial Reports as well as All Reports.
Clicking on Transaction Journal Details takes you to the reporting screen where you can select a store, date range, transaction type, employee, till and commission employee.
This report requires a store selection and cannot be run company wide.
After selecting the store, enter a date range. This report is limited in scope to one month at a time. If you have selected a date range outside of a month, you will receive the following error:
You can select a single transaction type, or run the report for all transactions.
You can leave Employee and Commission Employee blank to run the report for all associates at the store. You also have the option to narrow your search by a specific till.
Once you have entered the parameters click from the right hand side of the screen.
As the report is running, you will see a notification that the report is loading. Clicking Cancel will abort the reporting process.
Once the report is run, you will see a list of all transactions that match your search criteria.
This report is grouped by transaction type. The total for each type is listed on the top line.
You can collapse each transaction type by clicking the located to the left of the transaction type.

- Customer Name
- Sales Amount
- Tax
- Shipping
- Deposits
- Gun Hold
- Credit
- Interest
- Fees
- Misc Charges
- Inter Store
- Total
- Online total
- COGS
- Employee
- Commission Employee
- Till
- Transaction Time
This report cannot be further sorted or grouped in the Bravo Reporting Pro tool. You can save the report to a number of different formats by clicking on the save icon at the top of the page just under the report configuration pane and selecting the preferred file type.
