Undo Inventory Markdown (Price Markdown Reversal)
Learn how to reverse a price markdown on inventory in Bravo using the Undo Markdown function to restore the original sale price.
Last Updated: 3/26/2025
You can use the Inventory Markdown feature in Bravo to put items on Sale for a limited time, after which they revert to their original Price. This article explains how to reverse that markdown.
Markdowns allow you to apply a Sale Price to multiple items without editing each manually. You can set markdowns based on a percentage. For details on applying Inventory Markdown, see our article here.
Instructions
To start, run an Ad Hoc in Inventory.
- From the Dashboard, select Inventory and then Ad Hoc Reporting.
- You will need the item to be in Inventory status and have a Sale Price, Web Price, or both.
- Here's how I ran my Ad Hoc:

- Running the Ad Hoc will generate a list of items with a Sale Price or Web Price.
- You can filter this list as needed and to filter by category, hover over the Category column and click on a category to select it.

- So in my list now, I have 3 items that have a Sale Price attached to them.

- Once you have the list of items the way you want it, you can highlight multiple items by clicking the first item on the list, and then hold SHIFT on your keyboard and click on the bottom item on the list.

- Click on Inventory Markdown to open the window. Then, select the Undo Markdown option.
- This will set the Markdown Price to 0.0%. Click Save, and you can choose to Re-label Items, sending them to the Print Tags queue.
Once you selected Save, each item that was highlighted is now showing nothing in the Sale Price section and the items are back at whatever the original Price was.
