Buy, Loan, Quote

Customers can submit new item requests for a loan, buy, or quote through MobilePawn or Buya App. These show up in Shopkeeper where you can negotiate, accept, or decline. Once accepted, the customer is notified through their app.

When the customer arrives, scan the barcode from their app or paperwork to pull up the item. If it wasn’t categorized, tap Edit to open the Estimator, assign a category, and finalize the transaction. This is the quickest way to turn hot leads into new loans or buys!

Chats

Connect directly with your customers in real time.

  • Chats come in from the MobilePawn or Buya apps—these are true app-based messages, not SMS texts.
  • Messages must be viewed and responded to in Shopkeeper. They will not appear in the Bravo POS client.
  • Conversations can start in a few ways:
  • Pawn, Layaway, or Consignment transactions: These will include the item photo, transaction type, and number, alongside the customer’s message.
  • General chats: These don’t link to a specific item—just the customer’s message.
  • All chat activity lives in the Chats section of Shopkeeper. You can reply right from your phone and keep the conversation moving.

Courtesy Holds

Need to give a customer a little more time? You can now place a courtesy hold right from Shopkeeper while chatting with a customer.

  • If your store allows it, you'll see the hold option during a live chat or linked transaction.
  • Shopkeeper checks your store’s hold settings and submits the request with all required details.
  • Shopkeeper fills in expiration details automatically. You can also add a note, which is logged in Bravo with a “BSK.” tag for easy reference.

It’s a quick way to support great customer service without needing to open Bravo POS.

  • Mobile approvals submitted from Bravo POS appear here for managers to review.
  • Each approval is clearly separated on screen and includes expanded info to help you make a decision.
  • You’ll see details like:
  • Customer Rating (if available)
  • Item Information (description, condition, asking price, category, age)
  • Pawn Details if applicable (ticket number, type, negotiated rate, due date)
  • For SKUs, you’ll also see quantity, price per unit, and available stock.
  • Tap Approve or Deny to respond instantly—no need to log into Bravo POS.
  • If notes are required for your store, users must enter a reason before sending the approval.

If the Choose Associates for Mobile Approvals checkbox is enabled for the store, the person writing the transaction will be able to select the managers to receive the approval request.

  • Offers will show up in Shopkeeper under the Offers section
  • New offers remain in your queue for 72 hours, giving your team time to respond
  • You can take one of three actions using Bravo’s Negotiator:
  • Accept – The customer will see the accepted price on Buya or Usedguns.com. It’s valid for 24 hours and visible only to that customer. If they don’t complete the purchase in time, the offer expires.
  • Counter – Send back a new price and keep the conversation going
  • Decline – Close the offer with no further negotiation
  • Customers are limited to 3 offers per item, so each one counts!
