Vault Labels
You will learn how to print and use Vault Labels in Bravo to organize and identify items stored securely, especially for firearms and high-value inventory.
Vault labels are 3"x2.25" labels for loan and buy ticket items that display information in a more expanded, visible format than regular labels, large ticket labels, and master jewelry labels. When configured, these labels print from the Special Label printer.
System Configuration
Under System Configuration > Configuration tab > POP CONFIG, a Vault Labels configuration can be set to one of three options:
- No Vault Label - No vault labels will be printed; all original item labels, Master Jewelry Labels (if configured), and/or Large Ticket Labels (if configured) will be printed instead.
- Jewelry Only - Vault labels will print only for jewelry items that are part of loans or buy tickets. original item labels and/or Large Ticket Labels (if configured) will print for general merchandise items, and normal-sized price tags (butterfly labels) will print for jewelry inventory items.
- All - Vault labels will print for all item types on loan or buy. Normal-sized price tags will print for inventory items.
If the Print Master Jewelry Label checkbox is enabled and Vault Labels are configured to print for jewelry items, the item numbering for jewelry ticket items will follow the same numbering system used for Master Jewelry Labels. All of the jewelry items will be grouped together under the "-00" ticket item number, and the associated barcode on the Vault Label will match this numbering. Below the barcode, the same description will print as the one shown on the Master Jewelry Label. The description can occupy up to two lines, and a sum of the total jewelry weight will also appear beneath the description. Next to the total jewelry weight, the location will appear, followed either by the number of items represented by the item number (for Master Jewelry Label jewelry items) and the total number of items on the ticket.

For General Merchandise items, vault labels will print the full item number, including the "-XX", where 'XX' is replaced by the ordered number of the item on the loan/buy ticket. The associated barcode will appear beneath the item number, and below that, up to two lines will be occupied by the item's description. The next line will show the location of the item (if set during printing) and the ordered item number on the loan/buy/consignment hold ticket and the total number of items on the ticket.
The loan/buy amount and customer's name appear beneath the location, and the very bottom line will display "Buy" if the ticket is a buy ticket, "Pawn" if the ticket is a new pawn, or the old ticket number if the loan was renewed to a new ticket number. On the opposite side of the bottom line will be the Date.
Finally, written in rotated text on the right side of the Vault Label, the store's 3-letter print code will be printed along the side of the barcode and item description lines.
