Workstations in Bravo
Learn how to register, manage, and configure workstations in Bravo to ensure smooth operations and accurate reporting.
In Bravo there are 3 different types of workstations: Admin, Regular, and Global. Each workstation has it’s own level of access and securities. When dealing with new workstations it is important to know what they will be used primarily for in order to determine which type of workstation is needed. Let’s go into a little detail about each workstation:
Accounting Workstations:
Accounting workstations are primarily used for gathering data such as pulling up reports, checking loan/buy information, or performing inventory tasks. For more info on what is included in Accounting Workstations please see this article Here!
You will not be able to perform any types of transactions with an accounting workstation.
Regular Workstations:
Regular workstations in Bravo are the most typical of workstations and are essential to the store. These types of workstations will allow full access to Bravo and its many features. With a Regular Workstation, you will be able to perform all your necessary day to day functions, while still having access to all the various types of reports that are available to an Accounting Workstation.
If you are going to be performing any types of transactions (such as retail sales or writing loans) you will NEED a Regular Workstation.
Global Workstations:
Only used for companies with multiple stores in Bravo, Global Workstations are just like Regular Workstations however, you are able to navigate between stores in Bravo. For example, if I have 3 locations for my company, I would used a Global Workstation to sign in at each location from one computer. This gives you access to all the functions of Bravo at each of your locations without needing to physically be at the location to access your data.
